Aarushi Global School Firmly believes in three things. First, human beings are capable and desirous of rational self-discipline and of acting towards others with respect, kindness, concern, open-mindedness, and moral conviction. Second, the activity of learning is an expression of positive energies, fulfills natural impulse, and enriches life. Third, authentic learning flourishes when people work, think, and collaborate within a diverse community.

The conviction that the child contains inner strength, talents, and powers, which can be liberated and nurtured, allows a variety of educational techniques and methods and is manifested in the school in different ways.

The academic process at Aarushi Global School, offers young people a dynamic view of the nature of knowledge and the experiences of learning, and supports their efforts to construct life-affirming meaning. In every area of the curriculum the school encourages substantial student commitment to reading, writing, enquiry, and focused discussion in order to secure the factual knowledge and conceptual structures essential for intellectual competence.

The practices have been recognized worldwide and the school has regularly been honored for its academic achievement as well as its unique philosophy of ‘Doing Good AND Doing Well’

Teaching The Way Students Learn

At the heart of Aarushi Global School’s educational philosophy is the firm belief that all students can become successful learners and that there are no predetermined limits to what students can accomplish at any age. Students come to AGS with varying intelligences, abilities, passions and skills. Curricular units are carefully designed to engage students with a variety of learning styles. A broad range of materials, activities, approaches, and interconnected learning opportunities encourages each student to discover and develop his or her own strengths. Students are also taught to recognize those areas where they may need to review in order to master required skills and content. The result is a “living” curriculum that evolves to accommodate teaching methods and topics for all grades.

Cross Curriculum Projects And Teaching

Much of the classwork at AGS involves projects designed to incorporate learning from multiple disciplines. Beginning in the youngest grades, students work both independently and in teams, present their findings to their peers, work with mentors, and share their work with partner schools. Individual and group projects and hands-on learning immerse students in their studies. Teachers at AGS work on grade-level teams. They plan, teach, and assess student work together to foster the development and meaningful application of discipline-specific skills and to ensure that students meet or exceed national education standards

Making Learners For Life

School activities become both ends in themselves and means toward more complex, more difficult ends. But however rigorous, school work need not be alienating or painful, nor need success be measured by comparison to others. Rather, achievement is the result of the use by the child, under proper stimulation and challenge, of the natural powers of mind and body, which in their exercise and application provide pleasure and happiness. We create this never ending quest of knowledge in the kids enabling them to practice anywhere, anytime learning.
